Inverted pendulum realization based on Cubli
Ježek, Michal ; Zuth, Daniel (referee) ; Marada, Tomáš (advisor)
This master thesis deals with the development and construction of the inverted pendulum, inspired by the Cubli project. The objective is to develop and design an inverted pendulum, in the shape of one side of the cube balancing at one of its corner and for balancing is used the flywheel. For its design 3D printing is used to the maximum extent and as the electronic parts commonly available components at an affordable price are used. The design of the construction and the components allow the construction of a complete cube, without the need of further development or fundamental changes in the design of the model. For the calculations and the design of the controller the Matlab / Simulink software was used. As the controller algorithm the LQR algorithm is used with added integral feedback, to minimize control error. The 3D models of the single parts are created with FreeCAD software and printed on a 3D Prusa i3 MK2S printer.
Detection of the Cars Approaching the Crossroad
Vácha, Lukáš ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
Traffic monitoring using computer vision is becoming the desired system in practice. It allows nondestructive installation and also is very useful in many applications. This thesis focuses on automatic detection of vehicles approaching to a crossroads. This work also includes description of selected methods for detecting moving vehicles and the way of tracking them. On the basis of these methods is designed application that is implemented and tested in different lighting and weather conditions and various direction of approaching vehicles.
Knowledge Discovery in Object Relational Databases
Chytka, Karel ; Vrážel, Dušan (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
The goal of this master's thesis is to acquaint with a problem of a knowledge discovery and objectrelational data classification. It summarizes problems which are connected with mining spatiotemporal data. There is described data mining kernel algorithm SVM. The second part solves classification method implementation. This method solves data mining in a Caretaker trajectory database. This thesis contains application's implementation for spatio-temporal data preprocessing, their organization in database and presentation too.
